Deconfinement and precautionary measures due to the COVID-19 virus, for all SNCA sites from Monday, May 18, 2020 onwards

Registration of road vehicles for private customers. De-registration, issue of a duplicate registration certificate, change of address on a registration document, rental of red plates and operations related to the driver's license

From Monday, May 18, 2020 and until further notice, registration of road vehicles at the SNCA counters for private customers will be by appointment only.

  •  Appointments can be made by internet https://snca.public.lu/en/rendez-vous.html or by calling our Call Center at 26 626 - 400.
  • We would like to inform our honourable customers that the number of appointments is limited due to social distancing measures.
  • We would like to inform you that the registration of a road vehicle can be done on file and that it is not necessary to visit one of our sites. The file must be sent by post or deposited in one of the letterboxes of our sites. A phone number or an email address of a contact person must be given with each file. Our operator handling your file will contact you if necessary.
  • Any information concerning the constitution of the file can be requested by e-mail to info@snca.lu or by calling our Call Center at 26 626 - 400.

Until further notice, the registration files of professional clients will only be received in the deposit procedure and processed in the back office.

From Monday 18 May 2020 and until further notice, all operations such as issuing a duplicate registration certificate, deregistration, change of address on a vehicle registration document will be processed directly without an appointment at the reception desk. Transactions related to driving licences and the rental of red plates will also be done at the counter without an appointment. For all these operations, our staff will guide you to the entrance of our premises and show you the procedure to follow.

Any customer entering our premises must wear a mask and will be invited to disinfect their hands at the terminals provided for this purpose.
