Who does this apply to?
- Any vehicle used for the transport of perishable goods across international borders in countries that are signatories to the ATP agreement
- Vehicles in service that have been imported from a country that is a member of the ATP agreement
Prerequisites
Before obtaining an ATP certificate, the vehicle must be registered in Luxembourg
The refrigerated box and/or the refrigeration unit must not be older than 6 years. Otherwise, in addition to the evidence listed below, an expert report will be required (see renewal application).
Supporting documents
The first issuance of an ATP certificate for an imported vehicle in service requires the following documents:
- The form Demande de délivrance de l’attestation de conformité ATP, completed and signed
- Copy of the test report of the body or tested prototype
- Specification sheet of the insulated body, issued by the manufacturer
- Copy of the test report on the refrigeration unit, issued by an approved testing center
- Specification sheet of the refrigeration unit, issued by the manufacturer
- Original of the manufacturer's certificate (*explanation)
- Original of the ATP certificate from the previous country of registration
For the transport of frozen goods, the following additional documents are required:
- Construction certificate of the temperature recorder according to EN 12830
- Certificate of temperature recorder inspection according to EN 13486
The ATP certificate from the previous country of registration must be presented in its original version
