Vehicle manufactured in Luxembourg

Who does this apply to?

  • Any vehicle used for the transport of perishable goods across international borders in countries that are signatories to the ATP agreement
  • Vehicles in service manufactured in Luxembourg

Prerequisites

Before obtaining an ATP certificate, the vehicle must be registered in Luxembourg

 

The refrigerated box and/or the refrigeration unit must not be older than 6 years. Otherwise, in addition to the evidence listed below, an expert report will be required (see renewal application).

Supporting documents

The first issuance of an ATP certificate for a vehicle in service manufactured in Luxembourg requires the following documents:

  • The form Demande de délivrance de l’attestation de conformité ATP, completed and signed
  • Copy of the test report of the body or tested prototype
  • Specification sheet of the insulated body, issued by the manufacturer
  • Copy of the test report on the refrigeration unit, issued by an approved testing center
  • Specification sheet of the refrigeration unit, issued by the manufacturer
  • Original of the manufacturer's certificate (*explanation)
  • Original of the assembly certificate from a bodybuilder in Luxembourg

 

For the transport of frozen goods, the following additional documents are required:

  • Construction certificate of the temperature recorder according to EN 12830
  • Certificate of temperature recorder inspection according to EN 13486
